ICE TRIKES FROM ENGLAND

ICE HPV in England has been building ICE trikes since 1986. Quality is first rate with 4130 Chrome Moly mid frames TIG welded together and finished in very high gloss laquer overcoated powder coat finishes. The rear section and front boom are 7075 heat treated aluminum

in a durable and attractive hard anodized finish. Negative scrub radius steering for that "self centering" feeling, ICE Compact Flat Twist folding format on Adventure and Sprint models make transport easy , ICE Custom Quad Bend adjustable reach / width handlebar system, cartridge sealed bearings all around, and 1:1 actuation SRAM shifting are common to most models.

The choices of mesh or composite seating, drum or disc brakes, 20" wheels all around or 26"/700c rear triangle choices, rear and full suspension options within 3 personalities in the Adventure, Sprint, and Vortex chassis' allow you to personalize.

BIONX electric assist systems available, see our Online Store for selection.

The Adventure series is suited for touring and is an excellent choice for cruising along your favorite trails. The Ergo Flow mesh seat sets the stage with ergonomic side bolsters, contoured bottom pad, and zipper sealed upper compartment. The Adventure comes in 3 series, Adventure is a hard tail with a folding frame. The Adventure RS adds rear suspension along with component upgrades and a broader gear range. The Adventure FS is full suspension, and the Adventure FS+ steps the components up one final level to SRAM TT500 bar end shifters, 9-34 10 speed cassette, hydraulic disc brakes, and standard disc parking brake. All details are shown side by side in our Specifications and Prices link below.

What brings a lot of people to the Adventure is the unique seat / crank relationship compared to other "tadpole" trikes. At 12", the seat height is at least 4.5" higher than many tadpole designs so getting in and out is easier. The crank position is lower than your hips as well, so if you always liked the tadpole format, but preferred the lower crank position, the Adventure is your trike.

Top line Schwalbe tires are included on the RS and FS trikes. An adjustable seat angle range of 44-49 degrees. Ground clearance is 7", so off road temptations along the way are an easy choice.

ICE Road Response rear suspension has 4" of travel and anti squat geometry for hill climbing integrity. Ice Road Response front suspension features a leading link design, 1.57" of travel with built in anti dive geometry for smoothness without drama.

Folded dimensions:

37.4-46.5" L x 31.3" W x 22.4 - 24.8" H depending on format.

Needing a little more personal space? Enter the Adventure HD. Wider stance, larger version of the ICE Ergo-Flow mesh seat, extra air volume Schwalbe Big Apple 2" wide tires, and a heavier guage chrome moly frame to bring up the rider weight max from 275# to 325#. All the model variations you love are available.

Lee's ICE T is a bit different. Set up as a complete foot operated trike with the exception of the prosthetically controlled handlebar on the left side. Special Angletech crank operated brakes and Double Tap shifting system. A very good result, ultra smooth interfaces, and just a fun cycle.

The Sprint series is suited for recreational sport touring riding with a fun factor twist. The Ergo Flow mesh seat sets the stage with ergonomic side bolsters, contoured bottom pad, and zipper sealed upper compartment. The Sprint comes in 3 series, the Sprint 26 is a hard tail with a folding frame. The Sprint RS adds rear suspension along with component upgrades and a broader gear range. The Sprint FS is full suspension. All details are shown side by side in our Specifications and Prices link below.

What brings a lot of people to the Sprint is the seat / crank relationship that is more sporty in nature. At 8", the seat height facilitates the glued to the ground feel. The crank position delivers more power and a more aerodynamic profile.

Top line Schwalbe tires are included on the RS and FS trikes. An adjustable seat angle range of 37- 44 degrees. Ground clearance is a road hugging 4", so peace of mind when you're on a roll is always there.

ICE Road Response rear suspension has 4" of travel and anti squat geometry for hill climbing integrity. Ice Road Response front suspension features a leading link design, 1.75" of travel with built in anti dive geometry for smoothness without drama.

SPRINT X
All models in the Sprint range are available with an X-type upgrade, optimising them for speed performance. In addition to the components of the chosen Sprint model, the X-type also includes
• Mesh seat or composite hard shell option
• 10 speed 9-34 custom wide range cassette (20” wheel models)
• SRAM TT500 bar end shifters (20” wheel models only)
Unique black frame and wheels with red detailing and graphics

ICE Sprint Video

Vortex stands for racy in ICE language, and this trike delivers what its name promises. The Vortex has a performance bias in its narrower track, ultra low extra reclined seating position design details, and performance focused components.

The Vortex comes in 2 series, Vortex and Vortex +. Hard tails with 700" rear wheels, slick tires, and aero rims. The Vortex has SRAM X.9 / TT500 components and a fiberglass ICE Air Pro shell seat. The Vortex + pushes the Vortex faster with a carbon fiber ICE Air Pro seat upgrade, top level SRAM XX / Rival 10 speed drive components including SRAM T900 carbon fiber bar end shifters and hydraulic brakes. All details are shown side by side in our Specifications and Prices link below.

To maximize the aerodynamic advantage of recumbents you need to recline your position. The hard shell seat allows you to do this more so than the mesh seat VIA the more open hip position, dropping your shoulders out of the wind the most. If you want to go very fast you also need a solid platform for efficient power production and the hard shell seat does this best.

The shape is also enhanced by a unique deep contour bucket form supporting your position for fast, secure cornering performance. Finished off with the CNC machined air flow seat pad for ultimate ventilation and weight reduction.

The Vortex + comes in at a remarkable 28.75#

From the Sims in Australia, the most well known tadpole trike design. Introduced in the mid '90's, Greenspeed has built it's whole culture around trikes.

Sport, touring, race and tandem variations make up the tadpole line, the Anura finishes the selection in a delta format trike and 4 wheeled quad.

Greenspeed has a stellar reputation for solid, well built trikes, top level seat design, and has been a leader in steering geometry. If you don find exactly what you like in what you see here, then Greenspeed has a Custom Shop where your ideal trike can be built.

X SPORT SERIES

The X5 was created as a sports trike first. ThenGreenspeed added the GT folding feature. A low seat base helps to lower the center of gravity for better cornering, front wheels are cambered to increase cornering grip and caster angle has been increased to improve rider feedback.

With a reclined seat (30 degrees) and awesome road holding ability, this is the perfect trike for a fast rider with the "need for speed". Great for commuting, day rides or touring with a trailer.

The wheel package includes Velocity Aerohead rims and Schwalbe Stelvio high pressure tires.

The Greenspeed trike experience in a 30 second fold format.  People like the X series for its great acceleration, excellent seat design, a significantly tighter turning circle than many brands, excellent ergonomics including a true S size that scales the whole trike to that size, frame, crank length, and seat size for a real custom fit. The folded size is 32 x 28 x 15 inches.

Magnum

The Magnum is the 1st recumbent trike to have a seat which is adjustable for height and is adjustable for angle as well. The seat height is adjustable from 12” to 17” and both
adjustments are with Quick Release levers. You can choose the seat height to suit ease of entry and exit, the riding conditions, and personal preference.

The seat cover is completely open weave. This allows cooling to the back, and does not hold water if it rains. The curves were designed by a chiropractor to give proper support to both the lumbar and the shoulders. Shock cord lacing provides a good fit to your back, plus it provides suspension for insulation from road shock.

Suspension is also provided by the Schwalbe “Big Apple” balloon tyres which give both a low rolling resistance and a comfortable ride. By adjusting the tyre pressure, the trike is equally at home on rough roads and smooth roads.

For off road use, you need a high ground clearance, and low gears, yet for road use you need high gears, and good road holding. The Magnum has a massive 5” of ground clearance, yet with the seat low, and the cambered wheels it has outstanding road holding.

The 9-32 Gold Ace cassette combined with the 52/42/30 triple crank-set gives a 19” in bottom to 116” in top gear.

Disc brakes normally have superior stopping power to drums brakes, but disc brakes make it harder to take the wheels off and on. They are difficult to adjust, the pads wear faster, and they cause more drag. So the Magnum is the 1st trike to use the new, larger 90 mm Sturmey Archer drum brakes with the matching S.A. brake levers, which are longer, and have more leverage. The performance is as good as disc brakes without the disadvantages. As a bonus, they come with a press button quick release. To place it in your car, taking the wheels off is effortless! With the central frame hinge, and the quick release wheels, the Magnum will pack down in to the same size box – 28 x 15 x 32 inches, as its smaller brother, the Greenspeed GT1.

The Magnum, with its larger diameter frame tubes, has rider weight limit of 400 lbs at a light 42 lbs.

The Magnum will be available February 2012. Pre orders suggest first shipment could be sold out by the end of March.

ANURA

The Anura delta trike design from Greenspeed. Aluminum framed at 40#, a differential rear end for ultimate traction and handling manners that are best in its class.

The level crank position provides the best climbing power along with the ultra low rotating mass of the 16" or 20" wheels. Rans highly regarded seat is standard with the tweak of the Greenspeed shock chord mesh on the backrest and adjustable angle range of 40 - 57 degrees.

Adjustable width handlebars with USS and the ergonomically perfect Shimano  Bar End shifter and Schlumpf SpeedDrive 2 speed crank system of the Anura SL, and the traditional drive triple crank of the Anura RL finish the Greenspeed Anura off in a way that feels just right. 2 frame sizes.

Colors: Yellow/Black, Flame Red/Black.

ANURA HITCH

Hook up with a 2nd Anura

New Anura Quad, 4 wheels, excellent handling. By far the best 4 wheel experience available.

GTT TANDEMS

The stability and fun of a Greenspeed for 2.  The S&S Coupler's on the GTT brings things down to a transportable size.

One of our GTT riders, Paul and Kay , have just cleared 25,000 miles on their GTT with many long rides throughout the planet.

Greenspeed's are always built to last.

GREENSPEED GTH

Unlike other handcycle designs, the Greenspeed GTH features a tadpole type design with 2 wheels out front, and one in the rear. This makes a more stable trike at speed and while cornering.

The steering is the the same centerpoint design Greenspeed has used for years, and yields a much smaller turning circle than lean to steer designs (10'10").

By powering the rear wheel, you can now ride places that you only dreamed of, as it provides greater traction

Gearing wise, the Greenspeed GTH has 54 speeds spanning a remarkable 6-101 gear inches using the SRAM Dual Drive 3x9 rear hub with a Schlumpf 2 speed shifter in the crank. Shifting while pedaling or standing still is possible.

Braking is by 2 drum brakes in the front wheels, with dual discs as an option.

Seating is a very supported and ventilated full mesh design with lumbar and shoulder support where you sit "in" rather than "on" it for a more "one with the cycle" feel.

An adjustable leg/foot support system completes the picture.

Rover

The Rover is bringing triking to the masses! With its higher seat, tighter turning radius, easy adjustability and simple assembly / dis-assembly to allow for easy transport.

The main feature of the Rover is it's new seat. A full 4 inches higher than most other tadpole trikes on the market; it is the same height as a standard office chair.

The seat is also fitted with a special adjustment clamp allowing for quick adjustments from very short sizes to very large sizes - all with the quick flip of a lever.

The Rover's ingenious design also provides for easy transportation. The trike is comprised of 4 elements that all bolt together within 5 minutes.

Because of the design, it has a very small turning radius. You can take your Rover into places that had never before been accessible to trikes.

The Rover also ships with an assortment of 8 different colored decal packs to customize your trike.

1, 3, and 8 speed versions.

Tandem kit also available.

Rambler

With its sleek styling, higher seat, round tubing and adjustable seat, the Rambler is the love-child of the popular Rover and the Cruiser, taking the best of both models and creating an exciting new trike.

The Rambler starts off with a newly engineered "crossbow" style frame thats adds even more stabilty and comfort. Fabricated from round chro-moly steel tubing with an adjustable aluminum boom. Asparagus green or Orange color with custom color decals so you can customize your trike to your liking. Direct steering and comfort-grip horizontal handlebars of the Rover design, but a shortened overall length and wheelbase.

The TerraTrike adjustable seat adjusts from 40 to 90 degrees allowing YOU to set the angle at which you feel most comfortable - and at 15" high, it's still a full 5" taller than most trikes. The seat slides along the frame allowing for quick adjustments for riders with similar leg lengths. This trike is easy to get in and out of and adjusts in seconds.

Built into the design is a very small turning radius (In most cases even shorter than a standard upright bicycle). Cambered wheels add to the stability and smooth steering transitiuons. You can take your Rambler into places that had never before been accessible to trikes. Locking brake levers are standard so you'll stay put once you get to where you're going.

The Rambler clocks in at a full 5 pounds lighter than it's Rover counterpart and is available in four different component levels.

Tour II

With 4 different component groups to match your style of riding, it is the perfect trike for the no-nonsense rider looking for a simple, comfortable ride down the bike path, the cruiser that wants to commute to work or the adventurer who wants to pedal across the continent.

The new Tour II is equipped to handle it all. What was the Path, Cruiser and Tour models have now been combined into one, and updated with new standard locking brakes levers, a new tighter turning radius and finished with a Sunset Gold color powdercoat finish.

Couple this with a Terracycle Cargo Monster and you have as much storage potential as a small car, without the gas expense. The Tour II is just as well suited for retrieving groceries, running to the laundromat or a quick run to the coffee shop as it is for crossing the country.

Terracycle Cargo Monster

The new Tour II is the culmination of 15 years of refinement. The chro-moly frame and upgraded components make this the perfect touring platform that allows you to find your own road.

Finally, under power, there are no wiggles of pedal steer to take away from the experience.

The Sportster has a newly designed strong and light weight aluminum frame, built in the USA in 4 anodized finishes. It comes stock with a 26" rear wheel for higher gearing and easy rolling momentum. Four component levels to cover performance and budget preferences.

ANGLETECH QUADRA-PED TOTAL BODY RECUMBENT TRIKES.

Quality craftsmanship, secure, fun handling, smooth "connected" feeling in the drive bring a smile to your face every time you climb in and go for a ride on a QuadraPed.

Options for performance, comfort, transport and alter-abled adaptability make these trikes the most versatile on the market.

How the QuadraPed Works.

While both arms and legs power the QuadraPed, additional muscle groups in the chest, shoulders, and back contribute to power play.

Hands or feet intuitively steer by tilting the steering column left to steer left, right to steer right. Two internal drum brakes, actuated by the crank systems, do the primary braking in an even, smooth manner.

Additionally a standard parking brake is included operating off the rear. This brake also doubles as drag brake for those long downhill runs, keeping your speed in check.

Adjustable sliding crank booms, and an easy sliding quick release seat facilitate a perfect fit. As well as the total body format, we offer individual floating leg rests for arms only or arms and one leg operation. "S" model for smaller riders is also available.

HARMONY Semi-Recumbent tandem.

In its 5th generation since 1983, the original alternative tandem design, the Harmony, offers a number of benefits over the traditional road tandem.

Independent pedal cadence.

The stoker may also choose his or her own pedal cadence, or stop pedaling if desired. This is accomplished in the gearing at the Cadence Modulator.

Versatility!

You can ride with any size of adult, or a KidFrontSystem which accommodates riders down to 4 years old. Special needs applications work great here with the Handcrank or Hand/Footcrank stoker option. This means that the Viewpoint will be used more often, and by more people than a traditional tandem.

The Harmony is such an integrated design, that it is impossible to separate individual features and say "there, that’s what makes it tick." Whether it is functional, structural, mechanical, or interpersonal, all of the features of this cycle work together to give you a great riding experience.
